Changelog
What’s shipped.
Every meaningful change to Framed, in reverse chronological order. The in-plugin “What’s new” banner surfaces the biggest items from here when you open the plugin after an update.
v2.0 — Pro tier launch
October 2026Six wireframe modes, custom palettes, watch mode, batch export, LemonSqueezy-wired licensing.
New modes
- Sketch — dashed hand-drawn feel, perfect for brainstorming sessions
- Greybox — solid grey blocks for structural reviews
- Blueprint — deep-blue paper + light-blue chalk, technical-drawing aesthetic
- Napkin — warm cream + brown dashed ink, for early concept sketches
- Print — pure black & white for stakeholder handouts
New Pro features
- Custom color palettes with a native OS color picker
- Naming templates — use
{name},{Mode},{date}tokens to control what wireframe copies are called - Layer exclusion — mark specific layers to skip during conversion (great for logos and brand marks)
- Saved presets — store your favorite mode + toggle combinations
- Watch mode — auto re-runs the conversion when your source frame changes
- Batch PNG export at 1×, 2×, or 3× scale
- 25 frames per run on Pro (Free stays at 3)
Pricing + licensing
- Pro tier launched at $20 USD, one-time
- LemonSqueezy wired up for checkout and license validation
- 3 device activations per license, no subscription, lifetime updates
- 14-day refund policy
UX
- Redesigned options screen as a three-tab layout (Convert / Advanced / Library)
- In-plugin “What’s new” banner surfaces release notes once per device
- Pro gating UI with unlock modal and license input
Backend / reliability
- Image-fill branch now recurses into children when a container has both a background image and nested content (hero sections, cards with photo backgrounds no longer get their contents wiped)
- Corner radii now copy properly on asymmetric and pill-shaped nodes
- Convert button has a 30-second fallback timeout so the UI never freezes if the sandbox stalls
- Resize handler clamps to a safe minimum size
- Dynamic-page documentchange listener now registers lazily (fixes a crash on Figma’s newer manifest mode)
- Selection stays visible when picking sub-layers to exclude (previously cleared)
