Privacy Policy
Short version: nothing from your Figma file ever leaves your machine. Framed is a Figma plugin that runs locally. The only network call it makes is to validate your Pro license key with LemonSqueezy.
What we collect
Framed itself collects no personal data. We don’t run analytics inside the plugin. We don’t have user accounts. We don’t track usage.
When you purchase Framed Pro, our payment processor LemonSqueezy collects the information needed to issue a license: your name, email address, billing country, and payment details. LemonSqueezy is the merchant of record for the transaction and handles all payment, tax, and refund processing per their privacy policy.
What the plugin stores locally
Framed uses Figma’s built-in figma.clientStorage to remember a handful of things on your device only:
- Your Pro license key and its device activation ID (if you’ve purchased Pro)
- The settings you’ve picked (mode, palette, toggles)
- Any custom palettes you’ve created
- Any wireframe presets you’ve saved
- A per-device marker used by Watch mode
This data stays on your machine. We can’t see it, and it’s not synced anywhere.
What network calls Framed makes
Exactly two, both to LemonSqueezy’s license API:
POST api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/activate— when you paste a license key and click Activate. Sends only your key and a device identifier.POST api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/validate— silently, when the plugin loads, to check your license is still valid. Sends only your key and the device ID.
No information read from your Figma document, no selection data, no node contents, no file names — none of it is sent anywhere. You can audit the exact request bodies in the plugin’s source.
Cookies and tracking
This website (framedplugin.com) uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous pageview counts. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personally identifying information. See Vercel’s analytics privacy policy for details.
Your data rights
If you want your purchase record deleted, email hello@framedplugin.com. We’ll remove it from LemonSqueezy within 7 days. Your local plugin storage lives on your device — you can clear it anytime by uninstalling Framed from Figma.
